Meet Pastor Ben
Calvary Chapel South Shore Kauai has been on the island for many years & was began 1996 as a home based Bible study. The Bible & Jesus have always been the core of CCSSK. Through various teachers over the years, God has blessed the fellowship in wonderful ways.
Pastor Ben & his family moved to Kauai in September 2007 & began a Wednesday night Bible study in January of 2008 that quickly grew into a small group. In April of 2008 the decision was made to transition to a Sunday based Bible study.
In the last 2 years God has steadily added to the church as He has seen fit. CCSSK has grown into a thriving & exciting fellowship. On Christmas Eve 2008, CCSSK moved into a newer bigger facility in Kalaheo to accommodate the growth that God had brought. Currently we are looking for another bigger facility to meet the needs of the growing ministry.
Pastor Ben’s heart is to share Jesus & His love with the people of Kauai. For those that are lost & hurting, CCSSK is here to provide a place where Jesus is on display & His truth can set those hurting souls free. For those that already know Jesus as their Savior & Lord, CCSSK is a place where consistent Verse-by-Verse, Chapter-by-Chapter, & Book-by-Book Bible studies can be found.
Pastor Ben teaches the Word of God without apologies & with practical application for Christians living in the world today. The beautiful Message of Scripture is never watered down with a softball attitude toward politically incorrect topics. God’s Word is The Source of Absolute Truth.
Before moving to Kauai, Pastor Ben served in various positions with Calvary Chapel Aurora in Denver, CO. From the Children’s Ministry to the Worship Team, from the Men’s Ministry to Home Fellowships; God has discipled Pastor Ben into the servant he is today & continues to grow him daily.
Pastor Ben holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Colorado Christian University & is currently finishing his seminary education with Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. He is supported in the ministry by his wife Jennifer & their 2 children.
